2022 Update--
Amazon chose Jenna Mammina for Best Jazz of 2021!
Congratulations, Jenna, and thanks for the beautiful interpretation on the spur of the moment that you brought to "So We'll Go No More a' Roving" a couple of years ago.
This recording happened in about 20 minutes. At an after-party for Jenna Mammina's recording session, Blue Coast Music founder Cookie Marenco asked Jenna and Harold if they wanted to record it, then and there!
That became the fulfillment of a months-long project to bring Lord Byron's beautiful, melancholy poem into the 21st century with contemporary melody and harmony. Gratitude and happiness only begin to describe what Jenna did with a poem that celebrated its 200th birthday in 2019.
FROM WALLY EATON / Classics IV founder:
"The song is so heartfelt and beautiful; however, I am not sure I appreciate you making me cry at eleven o'clock in the morning."
Warmest Regards,
Wally

FROM MARK ISHAM / Feature motion picture soundtrack composer
This is wonderful! What a cool idea and rendered beautifully!
FROM MATT NATHANSON / rock star-songwriter:
..and this RULES
and jenna’s voice is heartbreaking…
FROM LOLA HASKINS / author and Pulitzer-nominated poet
That's so beautiful, Harold. I especially love how because it's not overstated the words sink deeply in. She's the right singer for it, too.
FROM JOANIE PALLATTO / Singer, record label owner, producer:
Oh my! How beautiful, and so completely realized. You and Jenna are perfect, I'm sure Lord Byron would approve. Cookie seized the opportunity, so glad she did! Congrats Harold, it's really wonderful.
FROM BOB MacSWAIN, literature scholar; CEO, Florida East Coast Railway:
One of my favorite poets and my and my father’s favorite.
You merged and created and then were smart enough to silence your voice so the talent could finish. Tell her she made me cry.
lyrics
So We'll Go No More a Roving
Lyrics: George Noel Gordon, the 6th Lord Byron
Music: Harold Fethe
So, we'll go no more a roving
So late into the night
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath
And the soul wears out the breast
And the heart must pause to breathe
And love itself have rest
Though the night was made for loving
And the day returns too soon
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon
